Contact: Can We Add You: Sure! Extra: My social media is mostly RP-related and softly screaming about real life, occasionally fandom things and art and music. I love playing... all kinds of things. I love complicated relationships and dynamics, characters discovering things about each other both the good and the bad and the what the fuck. Hurt/comfort is always welcome, as is found family and mutual horror and all the fun things. No shipping for Caduceus, but if I ever have anyone else in here, they're fair game. |
Canon: Critical Role Age: great question.... older than his teeth? He's probably about 100 years old, give or take. Housing: Living on his own in Bonnie's place. Entity Affiliation(s): very much The End. Caduceus is a grave cleric and has been tending a graveyard most of his life. Permissions: HERE Information: Caduceus is a grave cleric: he comforts the dying and makes sure the dead stay dead. As a cleric, he's also a healer. He's easy-going, not the quickest pony in the race, but very observant and friendly until he has a reason not to be. He's adapting to this new world as best he can and trying to learn about it. He is slightly at odds with ADI (though not remotely vocal about it) given recent lectures on entities and feeding and what not. He wants to be helpful, but being a cleric is who he is and cutting himself off from that is rough. ADI Thoughts: Caduceus isn't inherently suspicious of ADI, though he's becoming aware of the disconnect between ADI and the community at large. Saving the world sounds like a good cause, so he will help as he can. He's a little more inclined to keep his head down. He's not good at lying or particularly inclined to be duplicitous, but he has some doubts. CR Wanted: + Caduceus is a 7 foot tall firbolg with pink hair and a tail when he's on ADI property. Please feel free to comment or stare. He's used to it. Though he will occasionally do things like this because he thinks it's funny. CR Not Wanted: Nothing shippy for Cad. Your character is more than welcome to have a crush on him, flirt with him, make a move, etc. There is a 90% chance that he will not get that they're flirting, and if he does, he'll either act oblivious or gently let them down. I'm totally up for playing this out, though. Extra: Always open for plotting and discussion, please don't hesitate to ping me! Also please don't hesitate to nudge me on threads - sometimes I can boomerang and others I get a little bogged down in work, so if something has been waiting and you need me to hit it faster, let me know! Contact: Can We Add You: Sure! Extra: I have fun in RP diving deep into a character and dissecting parts that are either subtly brushed up against in canon, or altogether unexplored. I love CR that surprises me and character growth reflective of the circumstances in-game! But I’ll pretty much play anything; light hearted and leaning into the humorous side of things is also my jam. I’m also a fan of weird and spooky horror things, especially lovecraftian flavored. |
Contact: Can We Add You: Sure! Extra: RP-wise I love doing threads that explore different aspects of characterization and how people can clash based on differing ideologies and perspective of lived reality. Whether it be a light-hearted thread or a heavy one, the progress of unwrapping character's views excites me! I'm most interested in the horror aspects of the game and how they can intertwine with the mystery. As for social media, I'm only really on plurk but you can always chat me up on discord! |
Canon: Disco Elysium Age: 44 Housing: Bonnie's Entity Affiliation(s): The Corruption Permissions: HERE Information: A police detective from an alternate world resembling ours, Harry exists in a chaotic and often unpredictable state of mind. This is partly attributed to retrograde amnesia, which he became afflicted with a week before arriving here. It's also partly attributed to being an insane man. He means well and wants to be a good cop, but is prone to being self-absorbed, manic, unable to retain focus, and is supremely nosy and prodding into people's lives and their business. Also deeply annoying when it comes to *anything* related to politics (can entities be fed through aggravation??) which he will try to interject at any moment into a conversation. That and disco. Excessive hubris that delivers immediate karmic justice is Harry's life story. ADI Thoughts: Harry works between Security & Investigations departments. He's not distrustful of the ADI, but leans more skeptical of them. He thinks it's important to question the nature of the work he does, having the experiencing of waking up to a new reality and discovering he's a cop firsthand. At the moment he has no inclination to plot against the ADI, though won't judge anyone who isn't trusting. Don't be a big-time narc kids. CR Wanted: I'm interested in both positive and negative CR. On the positive side could be other cops/detectives, people with tragisympathetic backstories that he's a sucker for, #TheYouths (he has very "how do you do fellow kid" interactions in DE), and really anyone patient and nice enough to put up with his nonsense. He is also an alcoholic in recovery but can be easily swayed into backsliding as much as he tries to be on the path to proper health. On the more negative side, criminals could be fun to interact off given the opposing dynamics, and if anyone just can't stand his attitude that could be fun to explore. He has no problem chatting with people who hate him because he just kind of assumes everyone will on default when they learn his profession. Life experience! CR Not Wanted: N/A - I'm happy to see where all CR goes, good or bad. Extra: One thing to mention is Harry has a lot of toxic masculinity internalized in him and while he's more damaging of himself, he may end up saying things that could hurt others too. On that note he does have suicidal tendencies and ideations, none of which I ever plan to write him seriously acting on but that come out in his reckless behavior. Let's just say he had a history of threatening it to get attention and respect, big yikes! He has very little regard for his own life or safety and often pushes things too far as a result. There are a lot of serious themes DE plays on, some of which I incorporate and others I don't given how I've set my version of the character up. If there's anything you ever want to opt out of, even if it's threading all together, you can comment on my permissions page! Visuals: Harry's two states of operating are: ![]() (source one) and (source two) |
Contact: Can We Add You: yup! I pretty much only use plurk for RP stff Extra: Mostly I use plurk for RP stuff, and I'll sometimes plurk about work, cooking, cats, or whatever I'm watching/playing at the moment. As for RP, I'm pretty flexible and love writing out all kinds of dynamics/plots. Horror, mindfucks, hurt/comfort, found family, lighthearted silly stuff, deep dives into what makes characters tick, redemption, disaster, anything goes. |
Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe Age: (mutters into hand a reasonable age) More seriously, early to mid-forties, probably, not counting the five years of being blipped. Housing: Bonnie’s! Entity Affiliation(s): The Extinction Permissions: HERE Information: Stephen is a doctor-turned-sorcerer who’s been tasked with protecting his home reality against magical threats. He’s intelligent and very inquisitive, possessing a stubborn streak, and can be critical and sarcastic — though sometimes in good humor. He has a habit of wanting to problem-solve and fix everything, though that character trait has been filed down significantly since the beginning of his arc. Generally, he cares about people and seeks to help them. In-game, he’s trying to find a balance between not using his magic at all (difficult for a sorcerer) and using it to help people even with the risk it involves. (Possible? Or reckless?) ADI Thoughts: Stephen isn’t exactly suspicious of ADI—he does think they’re being about as transparent as an organization like that can be—but he isn’t sure he completely agrees with the magic issue. He is currently weighing the risks against the benefit of having a storage of magical energy in case it’s needed, despite the warnings, and realizes the he would have to do this beyond the watchful eye of ADI… the latter of which he has already promised to help consult when it comes to matters of magical threats, and how to deal with them on their terms. Whoops. This is something that he hasn’t quite come to a conclusion to yet, and I would like for him to reach out to some CR to get a few opinions to inform his own. If you want your character to be a part of that, lmk! CR Wanted: —fellow healthcare-adjacent characters to talk medical shop with and to possibly help out in the medical department —magic people in which to discuss magic and how they should use it in this world, if at all —does your character need a magic dad? he can magic dad you —Stephen can work as either the voice of reason or the guy who tells you to go do the crazy thing and see what happens if your character needs either, oftentimes depending on the circumstances —I would love for a chance for Stephen to actually use his magic to protect someone! A sort of knee-jerk reaction where he isn’t thinking about whether he should or shouldn’t —connected to the above, also scenarios where he finds someone inflicting fear in order to fuel their abilities. Any Extinction folks out there? On an OOC level, I think it would be fun to brainstorm how to churn out those scares in the first place! —friENDSHiP… he is a tiny bit of a loner at heart, so please add to his hideously low friend count —negative CR is fine too! Stephen isn’t afraid to butt heads or be critical, and I do have fun writing him getting into arguments with people —maybe you want to be friends with his magical cloak instead… that can happen too CR Not Wanted: —shipping isn’t really “not wanted”, but fairly low on the priority list of things that I’m looking for him right now! Extra: Stephen has his canon outfit with him, but is usually seen walking around in normal clothes in Apoc How. One visible feature are the state of his hands, which are scarred and shake a little. Feel free to have your character notice, because sometimes I just neglect to write as much in a tag. Visuals: ![]() |
Contact: PM or Can We Add You: Feel free! Just let me know who you are first or have it in your profile somewhere Extra: My social media is a lot of music and some day-to-day stuff, plus a good bit of RP meanderings and plottings. I also post something weird/interesting/funny/terrifying every morning to reassure the world that I'm still here. I'm not a huge fandom person in general, but occasionally I Plurk about what I'm watching. A lot of crime, mystery, horror type things...right now I'm re-watching the original Leverage but I have Better Call Saul and Midnight Mass lined up in my queue as well to give you an idea of current thoughts. I'm also a long-time tabletop gamer with tastes in horror, fantasy, and cyberpunk- I got my start in D&D, Call of Cthulhu, oWoD, and Shadowrun to name a few! |
Canon: Original Age: 21 (his ADI-issued state ID has him listed as 19) Housing: Bonnie's Entity Affiliation(s): The Spiral Permissions: HERE Information: Jeff's a rock 'n roll himbo bard from 1995, and you can find more character info in the link above! Generally, he's sweet, stupid, kind of messy, and totally self destructive. And he was kind of sort of possessed by a demon before arriving here, which was basically a constant waking nightmare, but now that he's suddenly demon-free, the silence in his head is totally bumming him out. He's a whole mixed bag of emotions, okay. He spends a lot of his time busking in town, wandering around, exploring, and getting into trouble. During the Circus Circus event, he kind of went rogue and 1) cast some mindfucking magic to spread delirium and hysteria to others (after he encountered the mirror artifact) and 2) tried to join the circus. Okay, it wasn't a sincere attempt at joining the circus, but the end result is he got Fenix Down's business card and was pretty much identified as Spiral-aligned. What ensued was a weeks-long hallucination bender, where Jeff kept trying to seek out the warped reflections from the September TDM, triggered hallucinations in himself, and generally kept his Entity well-fed. He's definitely feeling the call of the Spiral (and will... probably wind up traipsing down the path to Avatarhood eventually). ADI Thoughts: Jeff doesn't like or trust the ADI, because of their anti-magic/supernatural stance. Being Gifted is a huge, integral part of his identity, so he's immediately suspicious and borderline hostile towards any organization that wants to push that part of him down. ...that being said, he's also taken a temporary part-time job in the Admin department, because he blacked out while busking and people stole his money. So until the sleepy music dies down, he'll be hanging around the office a little more. He's terrible at pretty much everything, so they mostly have him fetching coffee (and food) and making Halloween decorations. CR Wanted: I'm game for anything and everything, positive and negative, with a particular love for found family, bad influences, good influences (or Jeff fulfilling the bad/good influence role for others), fellow musicians, fellow magic users, anyone who's dumb and/or curious enough to poke at the Entities (or to encourage him to keep poking at the Spiral), friends, enemies, frenemies, fwbs, neighbors, anyone with demon experience, and potential ships if things pan out that way! CR Not Wanted: I'm good with anything. Extra: Jeff's pretty much actively seeking out the Spiral (because he wants its 'attention' and love/approval because he's a broken person hooray!) and Spiral-related activities, and may be on the path to Avatarhood, so I'd love for ANYTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH THAT. Characters to encourage it, suspect it, try to steer him away, it's all good to me. Visuals: ![]() ![]() (jesus I'm so tired i'm sorry if this is all incoherent) |
Contact: Can We Add You: Absolutely! Extra: I am big into angst, hurt/comfort, and all the mystery and horror I can muster. I'm also big into fluff, slice of life, and slowburn shipping. World of opposites. On social media, I'm friendly, but usually post mundanely. I love dogs and cats, though I'm allergic to both. Um... Come play tabletop with me? |
Canon: OC from the World of Darkness Tabletop system (new, 2e) Age: 29 Housing: ADI! C1! Entity Affiliation(s): Stranger! Permissions: HERE and power opt-out HERE Information: Steven is a NWOD2e half-demon, and he's mostly helping others. He's still getting used to not having semi-free access to his powers, and has an unfortunate habit of being a SECRETIVE FUCKWAD who needs to OPEN UP. In all seriousness, boy needs friends. ADI Thoughts: It's nice to have an organization to look to for once, but Steven's never not been the suspicious type. He's tentatively working with them, but he's not looking out for their best interests. He's entirely looking to learn their true motives, and inclined to assist research, to learn as much as he can. CR Wanted: Friends! I also have a terrible idea for how to get Steven to interact with others that involves him collapsing from exhaustion, but I need closer CR who actually care about him first. CR Not Wanted: None. Friends? Enemies? Frenemies? Facebook status it's complicated? It's ALL welcome. Extra: His back is embedded with living metal, essentially electroplated onto him prenatally. It forms a circuitboard pattern, and causes no pain, despite how weird and unnatural it looks. Visuals: ![]() |
Canon: Original Character Age: 39 Housing: ADI Housing, A2 Entity Affiliation(s): The Hunt. Jaeger is actively associated with the Hunt due to his magical abilities, though he's trying to be good about it. Permissions: HERE Information: Jaeger is a refugee from a corporate cult that he was part of for many years, until he found out they were Really Bad People who did blood magic and murdered his father. Jaeger then sent his family away and went on the run, hunting blood mages while avoiding being captured or killed himself. He's got a strong background in investigation and security and is a very practical-minded, intelligent man with a focus on his professional life, whatever it might be. He's a bit paranoid and withdrawn at times due to his life on the run and his past betrayals, but he's working on overcoming that. He's badly scarred on his chest, arms, and neck from torture and nearly being strangled to death. His voice is also permanently damaged from the same injury. It's messy, he doesn't like to talk about it but it's hard to miss. ADI Thoughts: Jaeger is cautiously trusting of ADI, but he's not quite there completely yet. He wants to believe that they have the world's best interests in mind, but his past experience has taught him to be more suspicious. So he's being dutiful for the moment, but keeping an eye on things. Mostly, Jaeger appreciates that he's good at investigation and corporate work in general, and wants a place to fit in and do some good. He's currently associated with the Investigation Department, with eyes on either Research or Security as a secondary- both are aspects that he's had some experience with in his past career. CR Wanted: I'm super open to things in general! Jaeger has a lot to work through due to his background and what he's survived, and I want to find more positive influences on him. He's starting to open up a bit around others and examine his past in a kinder light, and forming connections slowly with those that he finds reliable to work with. Professional connections are easiest, the more personal stuff is a little harder though he's surprised himself by how much he's actually opened up. I want to continue that trend for him, especially since he's going to need the support to keep from falling too far down into his Patron. The Hunt suits him a little too well for his liking given the past years of his life, and his practical streak can be a bit unnerving when it requires dangerous things. He is a mage by both nature and profession, so the temptation to rely on magic is a strong one for him. CR Not Wanted: Nothing comes to mind! Extra: Jaeger will be slow to ship, due to his difficult past and trauma. It's not impossible, but it might take some work. I'm open to seeing how things develop organically! Jaeger comes with quite a few content warnings due to his history and the nature of his magic. I will do my best to warn for any scenes/discussions that go into too much detail, and in general he tries to avoid the topic. Basically, I want all the things so please feel free to contact me if something comes to mind! Visuals: ![]() |
Contact: cacopheny @ plurk, or PM this journal Can We Add You: Sure! Extra: I'm here to see how one dehumanized Winter Soldier recovers in a horror setting where he might not necessarily be encouraged to get back to a more human baseline. (And at the same time, he might! Just in a different way than usual!) Also I like smaller, more plotty games, and this scratched an itch I didn't have in my other games. As a note, I am taking a somewhat slow month this month. I've hiatused in my other two games, but am trying to keep up in this one to some extent since AC is pretty easy and there's some pretty specific things to do each month. I expect to be back to full steam in November. |
Canon: Age: 90-some-odd, looks in his mid-30s Housing: ADI housing, apartment C2 with Yelena and Kate Entity Affiliation(s): Currently aligned with the Stranger, though he's unaware of it Permissions: HERE Information: Bucky, or in-game as Winter because names are hard, is quiet, capable, and ready with the violence when there's an appropriate target. Give him a rifle or some knives and he's a fairly happy camper. Put him in a corporate meeting and he disassociates and panics and doesn't know what to do with himself. He did pretty good with the weird monster-pigs, though he did get injured, and hated every minute of the meeting. He is very, very bad at asking questions and as such does not really engage with the mod NPCs. ADI Thoughts: Winter needs direction, needs a mission. Right now, the ADI is the source of that direction. Some people have been trying to convince him that the ADI is not to be trusted, but 1) he has nothing else right now so even if he winds up agreeing he's not leaving, and 2) he's pretty used to his handlers being evil, so... also not super likely to leave until he gets the hang of this personal autonomy thing. He is on the lookout for signs that ADI is not actually trying to protect people, though, because the one thing he has in fact decided is he wants to protect people. CR Wanted: More people to train in self-defense. More people to adopt. More people to team up with or protect on missions. People to prod at his personhood issues (but not too hard because otherwise he shuts down). People that might find some reason to dislike him or maybe try to use him, because he is Very Easily Manipulated to be honest, and I'm game for both 1) people giving that a go to recruit him for whatever their goals are, and 2) his current CR finding out and freaking out about it. CR Not Wanted: Not interested in romance at this time. No active mind control please. Passive environment effects like sleepiness I can kinda handle, but active PC mind control is a squick of mine. Also as a FYI, game-wide plots that affect characters' actions and emotions directly I will also wind up sitting out on (the hoarding reactions with the dolls in the current TDM, FYI, is on the border of things I don't like to play) or acting as unaffected straight-man on for any of your characters. Extra: Right now he is kind of unaware of his connection to an entity because he is pretty used to not questioning why his strength/healing/senses work or don't work. He's connected his serum abilities being associated with wearing his mask and being creepily not-person-like in public, but right now thinks it's just because it feels more like being on a mission. I'd love to get him aware of that and wrestle with what's worth it. (Also, I have a feeling that it'll be less effective as time goes on, as people realize the big weird masked guy isn't actually likely to hurt anyone and just kind of becomes the town's tolerated cryptid or something.) Contact: Can We Add You: Yes! Extra: Generally in my RP I'm up for anything and seeing how it goes, how a character moves and develops when free of the particular constraints of canon, and finding unexpected moments to dive into! (Also building too many AUs.) This applies in AH as well, where I'm ready to dive in fully and see what becomes of it. Admittedly, I do have a fondness for horror and horror aligned things, which I hope to explore in game one day. |
