Mostly video games (Bioware, Assassin's Creed, Undertale, Persona, Danganronpa, Dead by Daylight, OBVIOUSLY FATAL FRAME etc), animu (Bungou Stray Dogs, My Hero Academia, The Promised Neverland for the most recent ones), and I'm into Xmen and Marvel for the more LA side of things and tons of books... I work at a law firm and sued to work for Disney so I have many stories Availability: EST time zone but I can tag at pretty much any time if i'm not busy at work. Canon: Fatal Frame Maiden of Black Water Age: 19 Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: Y! Yuri's powers are detailed more in her permissions, but basically when she touches a spirit or a person, she (and the person themselves) will essentially go through a lifelike flashback of that person's death, or their most traumatizing memory. Her power is built around the idea of 'sharing pain'-- Yuri takes on the person's sins, their secrets, and their pain. Just ask if you have any questions! She can use it on spirits/a dead body more effectively, but she's shown to use it on the living and if she touches a sleeping person she can sometimes see their dreams as well. Entity Affiliation(s): The Eye Permissions: HERE Information: From the director's note: I thought of shrine maidens as an intermediary between life and death, so Yuuri had to be someone who was drifting in the rift between life and death - between being alive and dead - and if she took a single step she would have to go one way or the other. We were particularly careful to give her a look in her eyes that made you feel how in the middle she is. Eyes that look like she could go somewhere far away; eyes that look as though she could be called to by death at any moment. Grief-stricken eyes at the reality of eventually dying alone. I also wanted Yuuri's gaze to look as though she's a moment away from crying. I thought the gaze would be properly persuasive of the contradiction that whilst captivated by death she tries to save people; the contradiction that she is introverted but active. Yuri is the only survivor of a terrible accident that killed her family and left her the only one alive. From that she gained the ability to see spirits and peer into the hearts of others, which scared her and made her withdraw from people. The more she tried to seek help, the more she got a push back from doctors who didn't believe her and told her it was just stress. While she tried to be normal, constant failures set her to try and take drastic measures before she was rescued and taken in by a woman named Hisoka who tries to help Yuri learn how to use her powers, until the day Hisoka goes missing and Yuri attempts to find her. Along the way unraveling the chilling horrific past of the mountain she lives on that used to house women just like Yuri with her same abilities, except they were brutally murdered and their eyes gouged out from the fear of their "Glancing" ability like she has. Plotting: I def want to see her become more comfortable with dealing with people/her new job/etc. She spent so much time trying to be normal and it didn't pay off. Since she's also described as someone who's "drifting in the rift between life and death - between being alive and dead - and if she took a single step she would have to go one way or the other" so I'd like to see something about people getting her to choose life.... Show her life is worth living!! Make her forge bonds with people!! Visuals: Pls hug her.

Contact: Ihdreniel Can We Add You: Sure! I also have PMs open and a public timeline, so I'm easily reachable either way. Introduction: lol how does one talk about oneself. My main hobbies/interests are languages/linguistics, travel (RIP), photography, and reading! RP is pretty much my main/only form of fandom engagement, but my fiction tastes tend towards sci-fi, horror, and historical fiction. Canon: Xena: Warrior Princess Age: Twenties or so Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: N, but she's dead in canon so in-game her soul is going to be bound to her sword. Entity Affiliation(s): N/A atm Permissions: HERE Information: Callisto is violent, angry, cruel, and obsessive; she's also depressed, traumatized, and grief-stricken. When she was a child, she saw her family and village torched by a warlord's army, a thing she has not processed or dealt with even a little bit. Unfortunately, she's a peasant girl from Ancient Greece, which means she turned to (self-)destructive revenge rampaging rather than, you know, therapy. She's unpredictable, stunted as fuck, and definitely not the ideal recruit to help save the world - but she wants to go home and continue her quest for bloody vengeance, and if she thinks helping ADI will put her in a better position to do that, then she'll help. Then again, if an Entity comes along and makes her a better offer... WELL, WE'LL JUST SEE WHAT HAPPENS. Her app is here if you're interested in some more in-depth description! Plotting: I am incredibly into culture shock and fish-out-of-water scenarios of all kinds, so if anyone is interested in having their character help her adjust to a world that's a few thousand years ahead of what she's used to, come at me. Someone take this girl clothes shopping; her default outfit was designed for the male gaze a Mediterranean climate, not a Massachusetts winter. In terms of CR, I like a good mix of things and am really open to anything! She's vicious enough that fights and antagonism are easy (let's see how long it takes her to get kicked out of ADI housing), but she has enough depth to her that going beyond that is doable, too. So Callisto here also happens to be the sole survivor of a terrible tragedy that killed her family, and she could potentially be drawn to Yuri on that basis! That said, she responded to her own trauma by becoming an absolutely terrible person, so she wouldn't be a good candidate for that whole "choose life" thing.

Fandoms are FGO, Dragon Age, most Type-Moon properties, and a whole smattering of things that might surprise you. Canon: Fate/Grand Order Age: OLD, dating back to the 14th Century at the very least. Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: Yes, she's got poisoned sake. More on that in her app here. Entity Affiliation(s): The Flesh Permissions: HERE Information: A terrible drunk goblin who hails from the Heian Period of Japan, and along with the other oni of Mt. Ooe, she caused much havoc and ate a lot of people. Eventually, she was tricked into drinking poisoned sake and got her head lopped off, oops. While a lot of tales of Shuten-Douji depict her as a male, she's a girl now, you know, it's Fate. One way or another, Shuten-Douji is an Assassin class Servant summoned by the protagonist of Fate/Grand Order and is one of the many Heroic(?) Spirits who are gonna save world history or something like that. You'd think a Chaotic Evil spirit like Shuten wouldn't be into that, but she's been having a good time one way or another and as long as she's got good company and good booze, she's chill, she burns down. Shuten is a notorious drinker and flirtatious as hell and uh, can eat humans. She doesn't need to anymore since she's a high-grade familiar type, but you know, the taste for them is still there... 💦💦💦 THAT SAID, I have this Opt-Out post if other players don't want to engage with her since she's a monster with monster logic. This post also includes permissions about her Intoxication skill, but I'll always be hitting up the other player if she happens to use that on someone. Plotting: She's gonna take some time to adjust and get used to the limitations. In the meanwhile DRINKING BUDDIES would be wonderful, anyone who can tolerate her would do marvelous so she's not bored. It's okay to be antagonistic with her too since she's a man-eating oni, she'll be amused by anyone who has the sense to not trust her. Visuals: From here.
