→ Breaking It In - Akechi will be there! He won't be shy about asking questions, but he'll mostly be watching the rest of the new arrivals, trying to gauge who might actually be helpful, and who might be hinderances. He'll be somewhat reassuring if anyone looks frightened, but more in the vein of "you're not required to go," and not, "you'll be fine."
→ Move the Goalposts -
a - I'm not planning to have Akechi be kidnapped himself, but he'll be able/willing to defend anyone running or try to rescue anyone being chased! He is not above trying to shoot and kill the kelpies once he realizes they are actually monsters and not just people.
b - Also, we're planning on having Ren Amamiya be one of the people kidnapped, which means Akechi will be extremely inclined to go out on his own to gather information and try to find the only person he actually cares about. People are welcome to join him or talk him down from a suicide mission! His pleasant mask will have slipped quite a bit by then, so expect a somewhat-less-fake/polite boy.
→ Curveball - N/A
→ Below the Belt - Akechi will absolutely be part of the recon mission, especially in the wake of the kidnappings. It won't occur to him to literally slice the seals open, but if directed to, he'll do it without complaining (too much). He'll be eager and willing to help track down the kelpies themselves and has no qualms about killing them, especially once it becomes clear that the seals are actually transformed people. It might be a little disturbing to the people he's spoken with already just how much joy he'll take in being able to (attempt to) fight.
→ Sticky Wicket - "Are you cruel enough to let them have it?" yes. Yes he is. Akechi's had enough experience with the supernatural not to want to bother opening the box when it's more beneficial to him not to open it, and he'll discourage PCs from doing the same, but if the box is knocked out of his hands and whomever assaulted him goes to grab it, well. Instant punishment on their part and Akechi gets to see what happens, so. Win/win!
