Contact: quantumvelvet Can We Add You: Sure, just give me a heads up if your profile doesn't make it obvious where you're adding me from. Introduction: Hey, I'm PG, 38 years old, from Toronto, Canada. I'm an administrative worker and full-time cat staff. I'm into video games (currently FFXIV, Resident Evil, and the Baldur's Gate early access, previous favourites have been Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Silent Hill) and tabletop RPGs, primarily D&D, WoD, and Pathfinder, but I've dabbled in a lot of systems, both as a player and as a GM. Current fandoms include Critical Role, the MCU, Netflix Castlevania, Shadow & Bone, the Locked Tomb series, and a dozen other things I've forgotten to mention. I will admit to not being canon-familiar with TMA, but this all looks incredibly fun. Availability: Currently GMT-4, mostly on in the evenings and on weekends, though I'll pop in on plurk sporadically throughout the day. I'm happy to backtag, and can do brackets or prose, though I prefer the latter for longer tags. Extra: I am totally down to keep TDM interactions, just let me know.

Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe Age: 31 or 36, depending on how you count. Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: Nope! Entity Affiliation(s): Currently none. Permissions: HERE Information: Yelena is a product of the same horrifying torture factory that produced Natasha Romanoff, meaning she's a highly skilled spy and assassin. She was freed from mind control, went on the run, joined up with Natasha to take down the person responsible for creating them, and then turned her attention to taking down the rest of the human trafficking ring involved, and figuring out how to have a life now that she's actually able to make her own decisions. Then genocidal aliens happened, she was dead for five years, and has joined up with some incredibly shady people, as you do. She's a complicated bundle of ruthlessness, abandonment issues, and skewed moral compass, with a hunger for new experience and enough socialization to come off as friendly and enthusiastic and like someone who probably isn't a stone cold killer. Plotting: I am up for anything! Yelena will be staying in the ADI residences and throwing herself into investigative missions for the time being - she does not trust ADI as far as she can throw the building, but she's also painfully aware of how precarious her position is, and figures going along while she gets her bearings and figures things out is the smartest call. Which could be interesting to discuss with people who are either more trusting, or less cooperative cynics? Visuals:

They do! And Yelena canonically keeps track of what the Avengers are up to, at least through Civil War, so she'd likely recognize Wanda and potentially approach on those grounds.

They can bond over losing people they cared about to Infinity Stone nonsense, sob.

👀 that's good to know! i really love the idea of them becoming friends down the line, and definitely bonding over having lost people they love. 😔 wanda could also put together dishes that would remind them of home? i'm not sure how russian of an upbringing yelena had, but at least there'll be a hearty meal involved!

These two don’t really know each other but that’s fine, right? That’s what rp is for. They’re both inclined towards investigation so I can only imagine they’ll run into each other sooner or later.

I would find it kind of hilarious if they wind up intersecting repeatedly while investigating before anything comes up that really clues them in on being from the same universe.

Yelena will definitely make friends in exchange for cookies. I noticed Kate's sharing an apartment with Bucky - Yelena's probably going to turn up like a stray cat to bother him, and would be happy to stick around to chat.

Scratch that, I just got the notification for housing assignments, and apparently they're going to be rooming together!
