Contact: canarycry or PM is good Can We Add You: Yes, go ahead Introduction: Marion, 28F, she/hers, originally from NYC but living in PA. Fandom interests at the moment are Disco Elysium, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Chainsaw Man, OMORI, and Star Wars (derogatory). I also spend way too much time watching video essays on youtube. Availability: I work from home, but generally try to be good and only tag once work ends at 5pm EST. Weekends I'm more present if I don't have anything going on like tabletop or living, but with the state of the world as it is I'm more indoors than out right now. Extra: n/a, just happy to be here.

➥ Harrier Du Bois (Harry)

Canon: Disco Elysium Age: 44 Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: Yes, sort of. Harry has some limited para-natural investigation skills that lets him communicate with the dead/inanimate objects/other world entities. He is not entirely aware of his capabilities however, and is definitely insane to some varying degree. Entity Affiliation(s): The Corruption Permissions: HERE (I strongly encourage people to check Permissions because there are a lot of triggering topics built into Harry as a character and that Disco Elysium engages in. I want to be mindful that not everyone may want to tag a character like Harry for the sensitive material that is inherent to his character, so feel free to opt-out by commenting to it.) Information: Harry is a police detective who drank so much he lost all his memories. He has come to remember basic things like his name, profession, the nature of reality, but is largely still a blank slate with little experience in the world outside the week or so the game takes place in. He is an addict, for love, pain, case solving, politics, and disco. A good man at heart but layered with a lot of self-destructive tendencies. But boy does he love to talk and learn about people, maybe too much. If he does something stupid, just remember: it's all part of The Method. Also part of my build for him is that he believes the apocalypse is not a possibility but an inevitability, so being with the ADI will only fuel that side of him. Think about every screaming person with a cardboard sign that reads THE END IS NEAR, and that's Harry. Plotting: Harry is going to want to start off learning about as much as he can cram into his head, so I expect a lot of threads can just start with him approaching other characters with questions. He's going to want to pry at most any chance he has, so feel free to tell him to shut up because he's a cop and he has learned that everyone hates cops! at some point she just answers yes/no at random and will regret saying yes to a really wild question 😔 i hope eventually she can make him meals or something!! hearty sokovian food yes

shame the stat that picks up on lies is so low he will believe just about anything she tells him! he would love to be fed and he'll bring alcohol and cigarettes for all the meals.

omg marion that's just a recipe for disaster. i can already tell wanda's going to have to walk him back to his apartment a few times when he's had too much to drink. i'm already endeared ;-;

I played Disco Elysium earlier this year and I fell in love with the game. I’m really excited to see you playing Harry and I would love to throw Stephen at him. He wants to solve all the weird supernatural mysteries so what better way to do that than to team up with the human can opener?

Also he will discuss disco music with him someday…

Oh man I would love some dumb team-ups between these two, and glad you enjoyed the game. Harry will just obsess over Stephen's outfit and magic and lose his mind over it all. but he will have so many opinions about disco music, so many, and they are all important.

They could probably have an entire thread circling around the discussion of disco music. Stephen could even give recommendations, help.

Also, AS A DOCTOR, he would also suggest that Harry maybe take a little better care of himself. Just sayin

oh he absolutely will and maybe he will call stephen comrade just for the hell of it too. can't wear a cloak without being a little political about it!

anyway he will take no health advice, but will gladly take disco music recs because that's how you cope with all your pain in a normal way.

Hi Gail! Harry would definitely take a fellow amnesiac under his wing, whether or not that's a good idea when he's only had a week in the world at large. It'll be fun!

Buck's only got a month, and all bot 20 hours of it was spent in this game, ahaha XD Not much better!

Though he might try taking Harry under HIS wing which would... possibly be worse, actually
