Player Plot: Dogtown Emergency Service

Hello, hello!

This is LP with a little Player Plot surrounding the Dogtown searches.

So with more and more people venturing into Dogtown and spreading the news about ghost bullets and other terrible effects and - most importantly - the injuries they sustained, Carter wants to set up mobile clinics/emergency tents outside the two Dogtown entries in case people need quick medical attention or someone to get in there and grab them.

They will front as a general walk-in clinics. ADI would fund the bill and supplies and volunteer NPCs will help run things if PCs are otherwise occupied to ensure they're always manned.

If your character would be willing to help out, I'll have him put up a network post pitching the project and asking for volunteers. I could also put up an Open Post for the initial set-up and character mingling or the first Dogtown explorers calling for assistance if people are interested in that.

If your character doesn't have any medical training but wants to participate, Carter would be willing to show them the ropes for basic first aid or even coach them over a longer time period. But. Call him before you attempt any complicated procedures. Or don't. It's your Eldritch medical drama.

Cortana is curious about Dogtown, but venturing into the wilds for more than very short periods of time isn't feasible for her right now so she'd be happy to volunteer for this instead. She has plenty of medical knowlege ...next to no actual experience or training.

Mae would help out, wounds are cool! She doesn't have...Any medical knowledge and the only experience is from patching up her own knife fight wounds in high school and human bodies are weird.

But she's eager.

YEAH need to fix that cause they're technically roommates, but I dropped that ball with her intro (she keeps weird hours anyway) maybe i can have her text him or something just to establish the ~vibe~

Joining in on the how the fuck do u do medical but would love to help train! Rue has healing magic but not much other experience, but they'd love to help. Especially after their dogtown injury, they'd want to help keep people safe!

that would be cool yeah! I'm also crying that with Sheppard's Hunt changes, Carter kinda lives with two cats now, it's beautiful

Ooh yeah, Steve would be happy to help! He doesn't have any formal training but he knows battlefield medicine and is not squeamish. (Plus, he's a good option for patient transport!)

Methos would be willing to lend a hand with emergency medical services. He actually does have a fair bit of training and experience, though some of it's a little out of date, since his last turn through medical school was a couple decades ago.
