Hello, hello!

This is LP with a little Player Plot surrounding the Dogtown searches.

So with more and more people venturing into Dogtown and spreading the news about ghost bullets and other terrible effects and - most importantly - the injuries they sustained, Carter wants to set up mobile clinics/emergency tents outside the two Dogtown entries in case people need quick medical attention or someone to get in there and grab them.

They will front as a general walk-in clinics. ADI would fund the bill and supplies and volunteer NPCs will help run things if PCs are otherwise occupied to ensure they're always manned.

If your character would be willing to help out, I'll have him put up a network post pitching the project and asking for volunteers. I could also put up an Open Post for the initial set-up and character mingling or the first Dogtown explorers calling for assistance if people are interested in that.

If your character doesn't have any medical training but wants to participate, Carter would be willing to show them the ropes for basic first aid or even coach them over a longer time period. But. Call him before you attempt any complicated procedures. ~~Or don't. It's your Eldritch medical drama.~~

Hello, all! Terri coming to you with a Player Plot! Mercy's been in the game for a year now, and she's seen the housing disparities between those who live in ADI-provided housing and those who live at Bonnie's place. The part of the mission of her faith, the Spring Tide, is to give aide to those who need it. It's also a central tenet of her previous faith in Brother Earth. So! She's talked to Bonnie and has received permission to begin a restoration project for the Flophouse.

Timeline: 4 Months (July to October)
July: Roof and Exterior repairs. Expertise Needed: Roofing, carpentry, masonry
August: Plumbing repairs. Expertise Needed: Plumbing, insulation
September: Electrical repairs. Expertise Needed: Electrical, engineering, renewable energy, insulation
October: Interior repairs. Expertise Needed: Carpentry, masonry, mending, interior design

But, you ask, what can my character do if they want to help, but don't have one of these expertises? Many things!

Assist those with expertise.
Provide funding for equipment, building supplies, or various things that might crop up.
Make sure people working on this have their work at ADI covered, too! Wanna swap shifts?
Help with feeding and watering the workers so that burden doesn't fall on Bonnie or those just living in the Flophouse.

By the end of this, the goal is to have the Flophouse up to a much higher standard of living. Maybe not fully on part with what ADI can offer, but much closer to it. If this sounds like something your character would be interested in, I'll be putting up a network post calling for volunteers ICly, and have an open log each month where characters can work on this project in between all the horror that's been happening.

For anyone who wishes to interrogate Fenix as part of the Player Plot being run by Kai (Aelwyn's player), please tag into the interrogation thread by 5/4. We'd like to focus on getting any info characters glean from him distributed and out.

Aelwyn has been tasked with developing a plan to kidnap and assassinate Fenix Down and his circus after a conversation with Nia Lehrer authorizing this, provided she makes it impossible to trace back to ADI.

She’s going to be asking for help with this, but importantly she’s absolutely NOT going to reveal this to the network at large, because she doesn’t trust people to not give her speeches about cringe shit like “Murder is wrong!”, “Kidnapping is wrong!”, “What the fuck!”, and other assorted hot takes. OOCly, I’d also prefer not to have it leaked. Arguments about the ethics of it are fine, though!

Her plan revolves around fabricating a false cult based around The Dark called the Shadowcats, based upon her own experiences with working for a spooky shadow cat named Kalina. She wants to create numerous false flag incidents to back them up and make it seem like an on-the-rise organization with a grudge against Fenix’ circus. From there, they’ll kidnap Fenix Down, get as much information from him as humanly possible, and then stage his murder elaborately. The amount of answers they get from Fenix Down is dependent on the amount of players.

They’re going to be in regular contact with Nia and overseen by Austin, a senior agent at the ADI, who will ensure they’re not using powers. They can get around him if they try really hard, but he's good at his job.

This will naturally have consequences of various kinds depending on how it shapes up, but I’m absolutely down for any further additions people have in mind if they want to get involved! Listed consequences include:

- Burns (1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree are all options) - All troupe members can inflict these
- Chronic pain (it would be up to the player the specific location and nature/degree of what this is, but it should be something that would present a potential disruption to their life/activities they enjoy) - Fenix can inflict this
- Temporary (or permanent) vision or hearing loss - Roderick and Penny can inflict these if they're engaged.
- Capture and torture (and eventual release as a potential trade for Fenix) by one of the other avatars in Fenix's troupe.

Aelwyn, for one, is going to come out of this much more heavily marked by the Desolation, and with a brand new book to experiment with too.
