Canon: the librarians Age: 43 ("448") Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: y Entity Affiliation(s): the extinction Permissions: HERE Information: eve's an army colonel who used to work for nato counterterrorism before being recruited by a magical library. turns out hunting magical artifacts is more dangerous than wmd's. she's had her world really opened to magic, has seen alternative timelines, faced her own destiny, time travelled and then became immortal. but she is just going to keep plowing through because an apocalypse of another world would definitely affect her getting back to her world. Plotting: eve's gotta meet all the people! she bonds well with other soldiers but has learned to (a little) loosen up to other people. she'll be a lot more open about magic and weirdness than she'd usually be considering what they're all here for. it might also take her a while to really think about her immortality and it being a 'power' and that it's kinda gone at the minute and the good whole conflict about it. i've not tapped into entity stuff yet so 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 Visuals:

Contact: quantumvelvet or PM Can We Add You: Sure! Just give me a quick heads up if you don't list your characters in your profile, so I know where you found me from. Introduction: Hey, I'm PG! I've been here for a while with Yelena, and have finally decided to branch out and pick up a second character for bonus corruptio- I mean shenanigans. I'm Canadian, in my late 30s, and a dyed in the wool nerd. I'm into fantasy, sci-fi, and horror, and have a lifelong fondness for video games and tabletop RPGs. For the latter, I primarily inhabit D&D, Pathfinder, and WoD territory, but I've dabbled in a lot of systems, both as a player and a GM. I also do a fair bit of crochet, and some sewing. Availability: Currently GMT-4 (GMT-5 in the fall/winter). I'm mostly around in the evenings and weekends, though I'll pop up on plurk sporadically throughout the day. I'm happy to backtag, and while I prefer prose for longer tags, I'm good matching format. Extra: I'm happy to keep TDM interactions with anyone who wants them!

Canon: Highlander (specifically Highlander: the Series) Age: ~6000, looks to be in his early 30s Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: Methos is an immortal, which here means: immunity to mundane disease and most poisons, rapid regenerative healing from all non-lethal wounds, and resurrective immortality that will bring him back from any death that doesn't involve complete beheading. He can also detect other Immortals of his kind and absorb their powers if they're permakilled and he's the nearest Immortal in close proximity, but this will only be relevant if anyone from his canon is apped in. Entity Affiliation(s): The Spiral Permissions: HERE Information: Methos is an Immortal so old that he doesn't really remember his mortal life, including his exact date and place of birth. He's been a terrifying Bronze Age warlord, a ruler, a scholar, a doctor, and has dabbled in a few dozen other things, as one does when one has approximately eternity to play with. He's gregarious, cynical, and has an insatiable lust for knowledge. Adam Pierson is also gregarious, cynical, and curious, and presents as a perfectly mortal career academic and researcher, with an uncanny knack for languages. While game events are likely to make the mask slip some, Methos is going to hold tightly to this identity, as as one does when one is fond of one's own life and is a very juicy target for bloodthirsty Immortals. Plotting: Meet all the people, research all the things. Please bring me research buddies. Methos is definitely going to be lowkey feeding his Entity once he realizes that's what's necessary to maintain his immortality, so that's probably going to be horrible down the road, if anyone wants to eventually deal with some lies and betrayal. Ade is also an unaging immortal with rapid healing and immunity to poisons and diseases who can only be killed with extreme bodily harm (in his case, complete fragmentation such as with explosives). Needless to say, I'd love these two to find each other :D Ade's pretty much a baby by immortal standards since he was only "infected" with immortality a few months ago, so he might be able to learn a lot from Methos.

She considers Bruno one of hers, so she might be uh around the common area when Methos is, especially if Bruno is there.

Yoooo roommate, I'm finally catching up on my everything and wanted to drop in here to touch base and maybe get these two introduced, even if it's a bit late. I see Methos has already meeting Katrina (aka the latest in a line of intimidating women who have taken charge of Bruno). In comparison Bruno will be...less forthright. He's gotten better about not hiding in his room all the time but he's still fairly skittish, especially around new people.

I'm into sci-fi/fantasy and I especially love campy shows like The Librarians or Leverage. Outside of RP I'm into songwriting, languages and video games. Availability: GMT+1 and I'm usually around in the evening which I think is noon/early afternoon for most people. I'm usually more active on the weekends. Right now I'm on summer break so I have a lot of tagging time but I might slow down again once school starts back up. Re: brackets/prose I got no tagging preference! I tend to default to brackets but I can always match. Extra: I had the best time on the TDM and I'd love to keep all his interactions!

➥ Peter Parker

Canon: The Amazing Spider-Man (pre-No Way Home) Age: 19 Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: Yes! When he feeds his Entity, Peter has superhuman strength/speed/agility, as well as his spider-senses which warn him from incoming danger and go together with his reflexes. He can climb walls with his hands and stick to them or chill upside down in a ceiling corner. He also enters the game with two cursed objects: Camera (CURSED): Whenever Peter takes a picture with his camera, it can show him something about the character (with player permission of course). At the same time, Peter will feel watched by the pictures, growing increasingly paranoid and uneasy when looking at them or searching them for clues. Again with player permission: Using the camera will make him obsessed with his motifs, trying to find out more about them, convinced that they're hiding something important. Web-shooters (CURSED): The web-shooters are devices Peter created from Oscorp's research. They contain a web fluid that allows him to swing from walls or catch/trap people and objects in his web. If he's using them to trap someone, the web would feel like it's entering the person's mind and draw out a dark secret or an important memory (with player permission). Peter will be haunted by that memory for some time, maybe hallucinating the people/events in it. It will make him paranoid of the person he drew the memory from, too, thinking they're stalking him or are out to get him to retaliate, whether that's true or not. These are all opt-in, of course, and I have a post for them over here. Entity Affiliation(s): The Eye Permissions: HERE Information: In his world, Peter is a superhero vigilante, swinging around New York to stop criminals and the occasional genetically mutated supervillain. He's very pro-vigilantism, often feeling like the police aren't doing a good enough job of keeping the streets safe. When he wears the mask, he's quick-witted, full of quips and snarky responses for his enemies. Outside the mask, he's a lot more unsure and awkward and can come across as a gangly teenager, often repeating or stumbling over words. He's a science prodigy who loves research and builds his own gear. He's also very boyish and gets excited easily. That, and he's a quite emotional heart-on-your-sleeve kind of guy. However, underneath the bubbly exterior he's actually a pretty traumatized teenager because people he loves keep dying in quite violent ways and he feels a ton of guilt over their deaths. Could use a hug probably. Plotting: Man, I am so excited to throw him at everything and everyone! Some ideas: - Meeting people during the Bonnie Player Plot. Peter is going to stay at Bonnie's (mainly because of ADI's curfew) and he'd help out fixing everything up, that could be a place to meet? - Getting himself or others in trouble for breaking the rules or just yeeting himself at supernatural stuff. I haven't played a powered character in a long time so I'm excited for the action. Carter is very sensible so there's a lot he sits out simply because he is not an idiot. Peter already got pecked bloody on the TDM by the birds because he just goes for it. - Peter being a dumb Eye vigilante and terrorizing criminals around town to feed off them and fuel his powers because, uh, they're criminals? What's even the problem here? He's strung them up before to freak them out, why wouldn't he do it if it helps him get his powers back to fight for the good guys? It's a win-win for everyone? - Conflict with other characters because he's being nosy/uses his cursed objects and becomes obsessed/paranoid. I got a pretty bare-bone Permission Post here if you're interested in getting some memories looked at or getting stalked - I think there was a MCU Peter in game before I joined? If characters want to react to his name/"wrong" face with suspicion or Stranger vibes, I'm game for that! - ??? Come at me?? Visuals:

Also, Yelena was briefly friendly with the MCU Peter we had previously, so she may casually bring up the whole same name thing at some point. She has enough of a grasp on the whole alternate dimensions thing that she wouldn't be suspicious per se, but would find it interesting.

Also-also, if you want Peter to get something horrible (from Yelena) or something deeply confusing and possibly but not necessarily horrible (from Methos) out of using one of his cursed items, I am definitely game for that at some point.

Aelwyn will see this poor dumbass stringing criminals up and terrorizing them and will swiftly tell him to do it quieter or else The Feds (ADI) will try to imprison him or something.

I think they could be something resembling friends provided Aelwyn keeps her more "villain from a DND world with shaky morals" traits on the downlow. They are the only 19 year olds here, I think.

I definitely think he's got some memories that'll freak Petey out a bit.

Though I'll warn you, if and when he finds out Peter is actively feeding the Eye he will be pissed :D hopefully they'll get some CR built up first....

I’m late to the party as always, but boy oh boy this could be interesting...or a disaster. Or both!

I’ve got here a Tony who just lost ‘his’ Peter for the second time in a very short while (since I brought him here from just after the Snap, oof), so I’m definitely curious about how he’d respond to an alt-Peter should these two run into one another. Will he respond with distrust? Curiosity? Inadvertent adoption? Let’s be real it’ll probably be inadvertent adoption.

Contact: PM, howletts Can We Add You: yeah! you can also ask me for my discord specifically, i just change the user name enough that it's not reliable to leave it anywhere Introduction: i'm lance, and i'm into horror and adventure video games and a couple of fantasy/sci-fi shows. the evil within, resident evil, silent hill, and the yakuza series (ESPECIALLY the judgment spin-offs) are some of my favourite long-running stuff. otherwise i like golden sun and silly mobage like project sekai and nu: carnival. as for shows, i'm catching up with westworld and waiting for the next season of wheel of time-- otherwise i'm into old comedies like arrested development or community and the like. i also do fansubs for japanese dramas. unrelated to fandom, i've been trying to specialise in python for databases and it's kicking my ass. Availability: i'm in gmt +8 but work insane hours (5AM - 1:30PM) and can occasionally tag then. otherwise i'm most active on fridays and weekends, though fansubbing work or schoolwork might tear me away from things sometimes. Extra: i didn't actually get into much tdm shenanigans, so as far as winging arrivals and such goes, i'm happy to do some assumed intros/CR there!

Canon: yakuza (judgment) Age: 38 Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: yeah, he has powers, though he only uses them when he beats the shit out of people. it makes a coloured ~aura appear around the parts of his body that're affected by the heightened strength/speed/durability, and when he's beaten up enough people and charged that aura up enough it can cover him wholly and make it so he can get shot without being mortally wounded. #justyakuzathings Entity Affiliation(s): the slaughter. the fact that making people hurt charges his aura in his actual canon actually makes this really funny to me Permissions: HERE Information: takayuki's a private detective back home and used to be a defence attorney. he's the adoptive son of the head of a yakuza family, too. he's no vigilante and believes the justice system is still the fairest chance people are gonna get, but he's not afraid of getting his hands dirty to uncover the truth needed for those trials. it probably helps that he's an ex-punk who gets a thrill out of fighting, even though he does his best to be a normal adult these days. the yagami detective agency was created in a crime-infested part of tokyo... which is why the fact its investigators are so willing to get into violent situations fearlessly makes them invaluable to their clientele. outside work, though, he's easygoing and nice for the most part, no matter how weird you are or what awful stuff you've done. just don't treat him like shit and he won't treat you like shit. Plotting: off the top of my head i think it'd be nice for him to have a smoking buddy for his cigs (and he might try vapes, depending). other than that, takayuki has a penchant for getting into fights, so it might not be entirely uncommon to see him swinging at someone, especially if it's close to a bar. he doesn't exactly seek fights out, sure, but if some asshole gives him attitude and starts throwing punches, takayuki will absolutely throw his own punches back without hesitation. rip. (otherwise he loves to intimidate motherfuckers to the point of them giving up, 'cause sometimes fighting's a drag.) Visuals:

I'm new around these parts, and in general I'm getting back into dwrp after a years-long hiatus. I work in state politics in the US of A (yeah... :/), but outside that I'm very into fantasy/sci-fi/action movies and shows, D&D, video games, and I also do theater, enjoy drawing, and going to the aquarium, and drawing all the critters at the aquarium, and I love driving long distances to go to weird old bookstores. Availability: EST. My hours can be a little wonky but mainly I'm available in the evenings, though my Tuesdays and Thursdays are often booked. Weekends I'm mostly available during the day. Sorry to the people on the TDM that I've been tagging at a glacial pace lately, July has been happening a lot. I should be back to my regular tagging speed by late next week. Extra: Yes for sure!

Canon: Arcane Age: about 21 Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: N Entity Affiliation(s): None (yet)! She'll be leaning towards The Eye or The Hunt. Permissions: HERE Information: Caitlyn is from a world where magic is extremely taboo and mages are actively shunned from most societies. Her best (only?) friend, though, is an inventor, and since he figured out that technology could be used to control magic, some people's tunes have changed. Caitlyn herself is a member of one of the ruling Houses of a prosperous merchant city-state, and as a result of being obscenely rich is also extremely sheltered and kind of stuck up and has never faced a consequence for any of her actions. Her heart is firmly in the right place, though. If someone needs help she's your girl. She spends all her free time obsessing over crime-solving and is actually really good at it, but she's prone to doing insane and reckless things to follow leads. Plotting: All of it! I'm up for basically anything. In particular, I'd love for her to have some people to Fight Crime with. She'll want to work as an investigator for ADI, but will definitely be conducting her own investigations on the side. Anyone who would be up for shennanigans and getting in trouble (and breaking curfew lol) would be most welcome! Also just friends in general, people she can nerd out with! She's honestly kinda lonely and has no one to listen to all her theories. Wanna buy some red string and a corkboard and make a conspiracy board with her? Also she's from a world that is kinda maybe somewhere vaguely in the early 20th century, technology-wise? So someone's gonna need to explain modern tech to her. I also love negative CR. If anyone out there is up to something shady, she could easily stick her nose in where it doesn't belong and make an enemy. Or, on a lighter note, she probably doesn't understand what chores are so there could potentially be conflicts with her roommates. Visuals:
