Can We Add You: Absolutely! Just give me a heads-up as to who you are first since I don't add total strangers.
Introduction: Hello hello hello! I'm a queer gal in her late 20s living in New York City with my fiance and roommate (basically my brother) and two very dumb cats. I work in customer service for an edtech company so I am online a whole lot. I'm a big TTRPG nerd (currently very into D&D and World of Darkness but have experience in a lot more) and love video games- currently playing tons of Dead By Daylight and Stardew Valley, but some of my favorites are Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Persona 4, Life Is Strange, Animal Crossing, and every Pokemon game ever made.
Availability: I'm EST and do most of my tags at night (so 8 PM - 1 AM) at any given time, but I'm online a lot if you have a quick question. Most of the time I reply to a thread every 2 days or so, but sometimes I'm slower. If there's a thread you want me to prioritize, let me know- happy to be quicker on something if you need.
Extra: Probably starting fresh from the TDM since I know I posted late, but looking to get in and meet people!

Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: Not really. He's more of an ex-entity type.
Entity Affiliation(s): The Lonely, but also the Eye and Web won't stop blowing up his phone.

Information: He's here! He's queer! He's a bit of a disaster but you know what else is new. I imagine most people are going to be familiar with him, but for those who aren't, Martin is a disaster man that has done just about this exact song and dance before. He slipped his way into an archive job studying the supernatural, found out the supernatural is real, the head exec is holding your life hostage, and you have a big gay crush on your boss that gets really, really complicated through a series of near-death experiences. He's coming from the end of season 5 so obviously spoilers will be a thing, but I'm happy to tag or just avoid it altogether.
Plotting: I'm really up for anything! Obviously he's going to be sticking very close to Jon for the foreseeable future, but as is typical he's a bit nosy so he'll find his way into trouble.
Visuals: Obviously he's a podcast character, but for my interpretation I fly primarily on this artist's design. Generally tall and fat, mess of red hair that should be curly but obviously isn't very well taken care of with more white in it than you'd expect from someone in their 30's. Light skin, freckled, glasses, the whole package. He's friend-shaped.

Anyway, I think Meredith and Martin would have a lot of room to commiserate about work stuff, given their circumstances. Mere's boss is a supervillain--whether or not that's as bad as the Magnus Institute, we can debate. But yes, let's be watercooler gossip buddies if nothing else.

Most of my experience is with Chronicles of Darkness actually! It should tell you how long I've been playing that I had to double check 'wait, that's just New World of Darkness, right?' LMAO. I've played some Mage campaigns and right now my DM is sending us through a run of the new Vampire 5e rules, it's very fun so far.

But yes, please, please give him someone who will bitch about terrible bosses. It'll be double funny considering both of Martin's terrible bosses are here and he's now dating one, but y'know, bygones, bygones...

I met K (Caduceus's player) over our Changeling OCs, so like...you wanna chat nWoD, you're in good company!

(Also, don't mind Meredith over in the TDM, sidling up to Elias. She doesn't know yet...)

honestly, he really, really does. Someone give this boy a hug and someone to talk to that isn't his boyfriend, because he's great, but also oh he is so stressed all of the time

I think she might start off being A Lot for a sort of Lonely boy but she is so full of love and friendship. She will definitely give Martin hugs.

Honestly most people are going to be A Lot after going straight to here from the apocalypse, but frankly, he needs it. And he'll be more motivated Not to fall into the Lonely this time, so just ignore how uncomfortable he looks. he's trying LMAO

I absolutely need Mercy and Martin to meet. She is the anti-Lonely and all about connections and friendship and the like. Coming up against Martin's personality seems like it might be fun.

Mercy's going on Meredith's shopping trip if that's something Martin would be attending. And if not, I'm sure I can find somewhere to hit your boy up.

I think he'll be there! I've held off tagging because I've been working out with castmates what the intro situation is going to be like there, but I'm hoping to tag it LOL

LAUGHS yeah.... yeah..... can't argue with that assessment.

If it would make Martin feel better, Akechi crafted a huge chunk of his personality around being likeable and impressive to adults specifically, so it's not just him!

Smallest thing to bond over, but Caduceus really loves tea and tends to suggest it as a solution for most things. Nothing wrong with trying to make things warm and cozy when the world is ending, right?

Okay tbh I was so excited when I saw your app, I'm also a big ol Critrole fan (i can't believe I didn't list that in my post oh my god) and I also play Beau!! I absolutely desperately want Martin and Caduceus to meet, they would have a lot to discuss.
