Welcome to Apocalypse How!
You've made it to Gloucester, and you're probably in one piece! Mostly... This is our OOC Intro post, a place for new players to introduce themselves, get to know one another's characters and find see who and what and when might click.
This month, the mod-run event will be posted on July 21st. Be sure to check the Calendar to see what else we have going on!

Can We Add You: sure can
Introduction: Knitter, flower crown maker, baker! Into a bunch of fandoms scattered across fantasy, sci-fi, and historical fiction including Critical Role, TMA, Penumbra Podcast (very new), a handful of anime series, the Witcher, and Dragon Age. I enjoy tabletop RPGS and am most familiar with D&D 5e and passingly familiar with WoD. Will ramble about all of these things on my plurk. My alter ego for the real world is a librarian and college professor.
Availability: I'm on the east coast of the USA and I'm around most afternoons and evenings to tag. I boomerang when I can and try to tag at least once per day. I am very excited that I'm getting my weekends back. I usually default to prose, but I'm happy to match styles.
Extra: I am happy to keep TDM threads as canon! Also we are getting ready to move so I might be a little slow through the end of July.
Age: 100-120ish
Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: He sure does: his Blightstaff and an amulet are both cursed. Caduceus himself is a grave cleric.
Entity Affiliation(s): The End
Permissions: here
Information: Caduceus Clay has been tending to the Blooming Grove - a graveyard - for as long as he's been alive, and his family for much longer. He's a grave cleric who sees death as a natural part of life and not something to be afraid of. He's laid back, calm, and generally supportive. He can also be kind of judgmental but he slides it out there in small doses, usually if he thinks you are making a terrible decision. He's intensely observant, often noticing when people are trying to hide things or not presenting their genuine selves. To balance this near-clairvoyant insight and generally intuitive nature, Caduceus.... is almost never the smartest person in the room. He forgets unimportant things relatively quickly and sometimes has trouble following other people's trains of thought. He will very happily tell you that he has no idea what's going on or what you're talking about. He admires wildly intelligent people, but he doesn't envy them.
Plotting: Caduceus is a generally helpful person and will be out there trying to help other people find their feet and settle in. He's great in a support role, whether that support role is guidance toward self-realization or, possibly, bringing the recently dead back to life. I am open to all kinds of CR. It looks like most of the gang is human-ish-looking, so at 7 feet tall and pink, Caduceus will probably stand out. He's okay with that. He is deeply tied to the End and generally wouldn't see that as a problem, and I'm looking for ways for him to feed his patron so that he's able to use his magic with some regularity. Thankfully, this might be as simple as creeping people out with the reminder of their inevitable creeping death or by actually seeing corpse roots (a la Oliver Banks, for the TMA familiar). Let me know if you're interested in any of that!
