I was really fascinated when I snooped on your app, because I wasn't aware from fandom osmosis that Shiro had a degenerative disease. Meredith's also got chronic illness bullshit that's going to deteriorate over her lifespan, and I'd really love for that to be something these two connect over. Maybe they meet cute in the waiting room at the medical staff offices sometime, or connect over his arm and her cane and get to talking? Just a thought!

It’s an easy thing to miss honestly! The writers threw it in for a flashback episode and basically did nothing else with it in the series, so there’s general confusion on when he was space-magic healed. I thought it’d be fun ( ???? lol ) to explore though, so! I am def up for them becoming medbay buds. Shiro generally doesn’t like talking about his med issues but I think it’d be healthy in a way for him to not be ~alone~ in it. Them being able to connect over their struggles and talk it out would be super interesting!

Besides, Meredith is a cinnamon roll and Shiro needs cr w that.

A very burnt cinnamon roll, but yes, she's going to probably be good for him, as someone who's never been trained for combat or even been to space.
