Let me know about Arrivals and Sticks and Stones, if you're interested, just because it would make sense to only select one of those. ➥ Mercy Graves Canon: Original Character Age: 19 Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: N Entity Affiliation(s): The End Permissions: HERE Information: The long and short of it is that Mercy is from a medieval fantasy world that has many gods that people worship, but no actual magic. She is in training to be a cleric for a traveling healer based order: the Spring Tide. Her family is in the undertaking business and their ancestral religion worshipping Brother Earth (a god based on respect for death and decay) is one that is typically frowned upon in her home country. Mercy still reveres death, but she's trying to carve a new path after a lot of trials and tribulations the last few years. Her beliefs are in flux and she could turn a lot of different ways. Plotting: Is your character the religious sort? Please talk to Mercy. She will happily talk about faith and might even be someone who could be convinced to shift away from the Spring Tide if you're offering something she sees as designed to do more good in the world. So, secretly I've been chin-handsing you in friends' plurks, so I'm really excited for an excuse to get to know you properly.

Mercy, you'll let Meredith take you shopping for modern clothes, right? And do your hair?

Yes! Please get Mercy some normal clothes so she doesn't look like a weirdo out in the modern world. She's going to be so impressed by, like... everything associated with modern manufacturing practices. But also, you people do but show a lot of skin, don't you?

Showing skin is completely optional, and if Mercy's not comfy with it, we will find the best modest fashion possible, using the tricks Mere's learned from her sister who married into an Orthodox Jewish family.

(Mere's also Jewish, at least in theory, but like...a two-day Jew, yanno?)

Showing skin is just shocking, but Mercy's... read some saucy pamphlets in her day. She's willing to try most things once. Curiosity gets the better of all of us. I'm gonna toss her at the shopping trip, for sure.

Were you planning on having another TDM thread be your canon arrival? If not, I'm down for Mercy and Ren's to be that. IF NOT, well... he's a dashing young man with flair who wants to show her cool things? She is THERE for that. She's going to be going on Meredith's shopping trip, so a chance to meet there, if not carrying over the TDM.
