I like video games and I am completely blind to TMA, but this is not the first podcast game I have joined blind so I'm ready to stumble around. I am most familiar with video games and animated canons but I will tag anyone who tags me! Availability: EST/EDT, usually around in the evenings but honestly my tagging times can be pretty random Extra: I'd be happy to keep TDM threads, but I won't assume anything unless you say in your intro/in a reply that you're cool with it too! ➥ MONIKA Canon: Doki Doki Literature Club Age: 18 Does Character Have Powers/Cursed Items: Ehhhhh? She's a technoghost, but that feeeds off of ambient fear energy, and she doesn't have any powers here. Entity Affiliation(s): The Eye Permissions: HERE Information: Monika is an intelligent, poised, but otherwise normal teenage girl! She's a bit out of her depth with the kind of things they're being expected to learn and plan for but she's trying very hard. DDLC SPOILERS: Monika is from a virtual machine and knows she is a video game character. She's conscious and human even though she's an AI, but because of this it means she's attached very literally to the turquoise Switch Lite she first found upon arrival. She appears completely, normally human and will be acting the part and not telling anyone (including the ADI) she's an AI ghost thing. She is desperate for interaction with real people and, having done a lot of terrible things she now realizes were terrible, she's hoping for a fresh start even if she doesn't think she deserves it. Plotting: First of all, I'm up for anything. Positive, negative, give it all to me. But if you're looking for specifics, Monika is going to be trying to make friends (especially around her own age but really anyone is fine, please, she wants to talk to real people please)! She'll also be very happy to learn from anyone willing to teach her survival and fighting skills, and will take this learning very seriously. If your character knows how to code, Monika knows a bit but is self-taught, and would love to improve her skills in this area. DDLC SPOILERS: If anyone else has issues with time loops/unreality/seeing beyond the world or issues with people who have done these things, that is always absolutely fascinating CR to work with. You know, your Sans Undertales and your Akemi Homuras and so on. Visuals:

Man, Monika is SUCH AN INTERESTING CHARACTER! Archie isn't quite her age but she is super friendly and I'd love to see if she could like, slot herself into a big sister/cool aunt type of role.

(She can also provide survival and fighting skills! A bit!)

That would be great! Monika could use some good outside influences (goodness knows it'll be hard to be good in a horror game) and I love that sort of dynamic.

Archie is, admittedly, sort of chaotic good but she IS good and I am totally looking forward to this.

I have an artificial human who is... not around her age (appears 30s, is chronologically 3) but who would be interested in reasoning out how she feels about well, people, if he knew about her. Obviously knowing about her would take quite a bit of CR build-up, so this is just me saying I want to try threading and see where it goes!!

Sounds like fun! Even if Monika wants to hide her status, I don't plan on letting it stay hidden, so we can definitely build up CR and see where it goes.

Hello! If Monika can handle a bit of tsun grumping, Keith could definitely lend her a hand with teaching survival skills!

Monika can deal with that! She may be worried she's imposing on him if he acts grumpy but she has a friend at home who can get pretty tsun so she's not unfamiliar with the type.

DDLC is such a good game and I soooo much want CR with Monika. Martin is the kind of guy that would stumble his way into being too nice with her very quickly and I'm sure it'll just be fantastic.

oh trust me buddy he knows an incredible amount about not deserving niceness, too bad martin is Stubborn and he Will Be Nice, Actually, if only out of spite for the world being bad

aelwyn is for sure going to gravitate toward monika just based on the way she presents herself and just both being private school girls of the same age. i think they'd probably get along though!
